Starting his career at a young age, B. Cole has performed at clubs and colleges all over the United States. He made his television debut in 1992 at the age of 20 on BET’s Comic View hosted by D. L. Hughley. B. Cole reached a pinnacle when he was awarded his own one hour Grandstand Special on BET’s Comic View in 1994. He was a founding member of The Second City’s first urban sketch comedy ensemble Forgotten City. Along with him was fellow Chicago native comedian Deon Cole as head writers, and he soon helped write a few sketches with Deon on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

B. Cole has captured audiences across the country with his original side-splitting, thought-provoking
material. He has toured U.S. military bases throughout Japan and the United States. His internationally
acclaimed signature comical piece, “I’m in Love with a Crack Head”, a satirical love poem, inspired B. Cole to develop the concept into a short film that can be viewed on his YouTube channel “BColefilms” along with other numerous self-produced content.

In the summer of 2022, B. Cole has released his latest feature film “Heaven on Seven” starring Damon
Williams and Terri J. Vaughn that’s currently streaming on Tubi. In 2011, B. Cole traveled the country on a two-man improv comedy club tour with another Chicago native,
comedian/actor, DeRay Davis.

In the year 2005, B. Cole wrote and starred in his first feature length film, “A Get2Gether”. “A Get2Gether” is now distributed through Millennium Films and can presently be seen on cable, dish and satellite networks. It has also been showcased nationwide in several festivals and it won the Best Independent Film Award at the 2005 Chicago Comedy Awards. In the same year, B. Cole was also awarded the Robert Townsend Award for his sketch comedy show “The B. Cole Show”.

One of B. Cole’s biggest accomplishments is when he was invited to share the stage with musical genius, Prince, accompanied by Hip Hop artist Common and singer Macy Gray in 2002 at The Metro concert hall in Wrigleyville Chicago, IL.

B. Cole is now working on a graphic novel adapted from his screenplay “The Slap Box King”. He is also
currently producing a show titled “ScaryAF” where B. Cole and his co-host discuss horror films with special comedian guest. ScaryAF can be viewed on Youtube/ScaryAF podcast.

There’s no slowing down for the multi-talented artist as he continues to write and produce timeless
comedy for the big screen. B. Cole is an actor, writer and comedian who continue to shine through his
incredible ability to not just create a story but his ability to breathe life into each hilarious character.
Expect to see a lot more from B. Cole in the future.
