Born and raised in Woodbury, Minnesota, James began his stand-up comedy journey at just 16 years old. Over the next several years, James honed his craft in clubs across the Midwest, becoming a paid regular at venues like Acme Comedy Co. and The Joke Joint. He made an appearance in PBS’s documentary series ‘Roots of Comedy’ and was named one of Minnesota’s top comics to watch in 2021. Today, James headlines shows across the country and opens for nationally touring comedians including Chad Daniels, Kelsey Cook, Dusty Slay, and more.
