Thirst Trap Salon with Manny Petty – Pride Edition Join Manny Petty and friends as they celebrate Pride Month with a stellar lineup of Chicago’s funniest LGBTQ+ comedians in Thirst Trap Salon; A Queer Comedy Blowout.

If the Mario Bros had a sassy cousin, his name would be Manny Petty: a Chicago-based stand-up comedian and musician who blends rapid-fire wit with musical comedy, landing somewhere between Tom Petty and a desperately needed mani-pedi. A Sicilian former punk rocker turned house husband, Manny delivers outrageous one-liners with the confidence of someone who’s seen things—and won’t let you forget it.

Manny has been featured on Dropout TV’s Game Changer as the unforgettable “Tired Italian Man,” as well as on WGN’s Spotlight Chicago. Known for his razor-sharp insights and polished musical comedy chops, he’s become a standout on Chicago’s comedy scene and beyond. You catch Manny’s new comedy special “The Pink Man Cave” on the YouTube channel CBTV.
Petty has opened for Rhys Nicholson (RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under), Brendan Scannell (Bonding on Netflix), and Corey O’Brien’s The Red Tour, and has been a featured performer at Roast Battle Chicago, The 312 Comedy Fest (2025), The Punx Can’t Laugh Comedy Fest (2025), and The Loons on the Lake Comedy Festival (2023–2025).
