Joe Sib is a comedian, storyteller, and former punk rock frontman who somehow turned a misspent youth of skateboards, loud guitars, and bad decisions into a comedy career. Raised in California and known for blending stand-up with killer storytelling, Joe pulls from real-life chaos: growing up in an Italian family, falling into punk rock, touring in bands like WAX and 22 Jacks, and eventually trying to figure out adulthood as a dad.
Along the way, Joe also co-founded the iconic independent label SideOneDummy Records, helping launch and support artists that defined a generation — before switching gears and taking his stories to the stage as a stand-up comedian.
In 2023, Joe released comedy specials with Dry Bar Comedy and 800 Pound Gorilla, and one of the wildest highlights of his career came when he teamed up with comedy legend Jim Breuer to open for Metallica on their 2018–2019 tour (because why not do stand-up for thousands of Metallica fans every night?).
Most recently in 2025, Joe made his Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut with his hit one-man show California Calling — a hilarious, heartfelt ride through punk rock, family, and the moments that change your life forever… sometimes in a single day.
Whether he’s on stage in a comedy club or telling stories in a theater, Joe’s comedy is honest, high-energy, and built for people who love to laugh hard and feel something too.
